This is a webquest for a basic level where they will learn the family members and animals at the same time learn how to use possessive pronouns and demonstrative.

the activity of making a family tree I find it interesting that students can perform the activity with parents, and this motivates a lot.

resources that were added are great because they are links to another page where students practice in a teaching the four skills.

REFLECTION

In my personal opinion I think this type of resources are very useful because nowadays many children from an early age can manipulate a computer and called much attention to work with. all we can leverage this interest to motivate them to perform academic tasks, so they will learn how to research online.
Other point is that as teachers we can keep a good control on the assignment, most students may fulfill the tasks without any pretext of not having copied in class or not attending on the day before that they only check the website will know what to do.

WebQuest advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages

 The student is the protagonist of their own learning.

 Can be adapted to the level of student.

It is a tool that motivates students.

 Encourages creativity, curiosity and enthusiasm for the work.

 Activities provided well-structured and understandable for students.

 It can be adapted to any academic content.

 Disadvantages

 Some students do not have internet.

 Connection is a problem that sometimes has with the internet.

 Some students have no ability to surf the internet.

WebQuest is an extremely rich learning model and simple to provide the educational use of Internet, based on cooperative learning and research process to learn.

A WebQuest is an activity focused on the investigation, in which the information is used by students, for the most part, downloaded from the Internet. Is basically a directed exploration, culminating in the production of a web page where you published the results of an investigation.

WebQuest is a learning methodology based primarily on the resources we provide internet that encourages students to research, enhance critical thinking, creativity and decision making, and help to develop different skills so taking students to translate knowledge acquired.

Hi everyone
I liked this topic, because i think taht it is very useful to us.
we have learned how to teach by project based learning i think that it is a good option to do a dynamic class and get the attention of students in each class, but also it has somme disadvanteges that teachers have to solve, or find the way to develop a good class.

Also  the page called RUBISTAR was very interesting, and a good contribution that the teacher gave us. becaus with this page we can prepare a class by PBL in a easy way.

I consider that this page can be useful to intermediate and advance students as  5 to 9 level.
In this web site students will can practice almost all english skills. This page has a lot of readings and exercises to practice at home, also in classrooms.
This page will help students to practice in any time and place english language.

WEEK 10

in this week's discussion about writing and reading skills, I have learned a lot, I really enjoyed the readings because I feel they were a great contribution, and how we use technology to improve our abilities in writing and reading.

in my personal opinion I think this type of information is very useful for us because we know the technology has been advancing every day, so we need to upgrade, to be competitive and be good English teachers, teaching correctly all language skills.
